The Mopar Owner’s Club (MOC) is a French non-profit organization founded in 1989. It brings together enthusiasts and owners of American automobiles from the various Chrysler group brands: Dodge, Plymouth, Chrysler, DeSoto, AMC, Jeep, Imperial, Eagle, RAM, as well as the Mopar brand.

The history of the club began in the late 1980s in the Paris area. Originally, the association was named the Barracuda Owner’s Club (BOC). It was created by a handful of American car enthusiasts, including Luc Montaut, one of the key founders of the project. The initial goal of the BOC was to bring together owners of an iconic model: the Plymouth Barracuda, and more specifically the second-generation versions.

Over the course of gatherings and meets, enthusiasm expanded beyond the Barracuda model alone. Many enthusiasts owning other Chrysler group vehicles—Challenger, Charger, Road Runner, Superbee, GTX, or Coronet—expressed their desire to join this community of mutual support and sharing.

Faced with this natural evolution, the founders decided to broaden the association's scope to include all vehicles produced by the Detroit manufacturer. Thus, the Barracuda Owner’s Club officially changed its name to become the Mopar Owner’s Club. This strategic choice allowed the organization to gradually establish itself as the sole official club dedicated to the Mopar universe in France.

For more than three decades, the guiding principle of the MOC has remained unchanged: preserving Mopar's automotive heritage, keeping vehicles in roadworthy condition, facilitating the search for original or period-correct spare parts, and offering a technical support network among members. The club caters to owners of Muscle Cars and classic models as well as owners of more recent Mopar vehicles.

Today, the Mopar Owner’s Club is an established organization within the American automotive landscape in France. The association regularly organizes outings, participation in national and international events, as well as meets reserved exclusively for its members.

The adventure continues with clear perspectives. In July 2029, the Mopar Owner’s Club will officially celebrate its 40th anniversary, marking four decades of uninterrupted activity serving Chrysler group vehicles.
